Adding / Extending Circuits
Did You Know
- Your existing electrical might not be up to current codes. Some appliances require their own dedicated load such as a microwave and toaster because they require more power.
- For smaller loads such as computers and televisions, they can be added to an existing circuit.
- The cost to adding a circuit will depend on the location. A circuit added into an existing bay will be cheaper than a circuit that has limited space and may require cutting a hole into the wall or ceiling.

Why AEI?
Adding or extending circuits should be done by a licensed professional electrical contractor. This is where you give your home an electrical upgrade or facelift. Before beginning any wiring project, confirm what your needs are. Some things to consider will be: will the job require an extension or the adding of new circuits? Will it be a dedicated line for Solar power or will it be used for a minor load such as a home entertainment system or computers.
Another consideration is, do you need to add an electrical circuit to exterior walls. This will have different challenges depending on location of the wall, roof and crawlspace access.
